Fishing information

Following extensive renovations to multiple historic lakes on the estate, the Memorial Fishing Lakes at Belvoir Castle, Leicestershire, are open to the public for trout fishing.

Originally conceived over 200 years ago by the country's greatest landscape architect, Capability Brown, his plans have been finally realised in line with the tercentenary of his birth.

This truly is a most stunning location to angle with Belvoir Castle as a back drop. The lakes have been stocked with Brown, Rainbow and Tiger Trout between 1.5 and 14lb.

The fishing is £16.50 for half days with a 2 fish limit and £27.50 for a whole day and a 4 fish limit. Yearly syndicate tickets are available for £350.00 per year.

Catch and return is allowed if barbless hooks are used.

You must book in prior to fishing.
